Life is Good.

With four solid days of training in the books for early preseason things are great and progress in begin made.

The first day was fantastic just to touch snow to my skis.
The conditions were great, hard surface and no rocks, dirt, grass, etc. showing at all. Timing was also perfect; we all had our first run of the season and11:11 on 11/11/11 hopefully making this the best season so far. πŸ˜‰

Conditions are optimal; hard and fast snow surface. We had a
light snow fall last night of 10cm, but ceased to slow us down. Although, what can you expect, it is winter! With only four days under my belt I can already feel progress. I have learned so much in such a short amount of time from Helmut and am egger as ever to get the season under way.

For the mean time we have been taken in by the Bagans, since
there are still occupants in our house until next Wednesday. Both Steven and I have been treated very well by this family and appreciate that they were available at such short notice and everything that they have done for us. We will be moving into our new residence for the season with coach and team mates on Thursday; before our next training block.

Steven and I finished off the day at the school with a gym session.
It felt good to put things back in perspective with something that I have
become so familiarized with.
